Aqara is the global smart-home and smart-space brand of Lumi United Technology, founded in 2009 in Shenzhen, China. With more than 16 years of IoT experience, Aqara offers over 2,200 products across 50 categories, and more than 56 million Aqara devices have been activated worldwide.
Aqara builds hubs, sensors, controls, cameras, locks and lighting that work together on open standards such as Matter, Thread and Zigbee, with a strong focus on privacy, local processing and award-winning industrial design.

About Synchroweb
Synchroweb Technology (M) Sdn Bhd was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Puchong, Selangor. For more than 15 years we have specialised in wireless networking, open-source infrastructure and enterprise IT, and we have been MikroTik's master distributor since 2013, serving customers and partners across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and beyond. We are also an IoT specialist and the developer of Omaya, our own IoT platform for smart buildings.
In 2025 Synchroweb became the official distributor of Aqara in Malaysia, focused on the business segment: property developers, hospitality, offices, system integrators, installers and resellers. We supply official local stock, support project deployments, and train and certify partners through Synchroweb Academy.

Omaya by Synchroweb
Synchroweb is an IoT specialist, not just a distributor. We develop Omaya, our own IoT platform that gives a building one live picture of its people, devices, environment and spaces.
Omaya already integrates Aqara sensors for occupancy sensing, security and automated environmental control, so an Aqara deployment can grow into full building operations.
