Which Aqara Product for Which Job: An Installer's Guide
Answer up front — Work down the job the client described, not the product list. Each row below names the product from the current Malaysian range, what has to be true at the wall or fixing point, and the limitation that turns into a callback if you skip it. Model choice is the easy part; the neutral, the box depth and the load decide whether it goes in. Partner pricing is issued to registered partners through the programme, so this guide carries no prices.
The installer resource hub is the catalogue. This is the decision aid. Standing in a bedroom at 4pm with a torch and a client who wants the hallway light on when they walk in, start at the row, not at the catalogue.

Who does what, and what it needs at the wall
Three site facts decide most of the rows above. Neutral at the switch box — loop-in lighting wiring sends live and neutral up to the rose and drops only a switch wire down, so the box has live plus switched live, and houses are inconsistent internally because parts were altered at different times. Open the boxes and look; that is what the room-by-room survey is for. The load — a relay fine for a lighting circuit is not automatically fine for an aircon. Box depth — a smart module plus the existing conductors may not go into a shallow back box, and that belongs in the quote, not in a contingency you absorb.
The second question is not which product, but who is allowed to touch what. It belongs in your quote as scope.

Plug-in and sensor work is safe to delegate and quick to price. In-wall mains wiring is where a registered wireman, a SIRIM-labelled product with Energy Commission approval and a written scope all matter. A botched neutral is a fire and shock risk, and unlicensed mains work can void the client's home insurance.

Confirm the exact SKU against the current datasheet on the day you commit, and take pricing from the current partner price list rather than memory.
